She was Miss Puerto Rico World 1980 and Miss Puerto Rico Teenager 1978.
In the late 90's, she was signed by CBS Records International (now Sony Records) as Lead Vocals in a harmonizing singing group named "ECCO".  

Over the years she taught Makeup, Etiquette & Runway to model hopefuls, as well as training Beauty Pageant Contestants all around the Caribbean.
